Friendly staff that did their best to accommodate our tight lunch schedule. Generous paella portion size and lovely warm Galician octopus starter.

Thankyou so much for accepting us in your restaurant for lunch. We were a group of 20 maltese people whom this restaurant accepted to open earlier . Food was delicious. I highly recommend the paella

Restaurante San Clemente is our first choice of restaurant in Santiago de Compostela. We usually have a celebratory lunch there after ending our yearly Camino de Santiago. Our most favourite dish is Paella but other options are equally delightful. The service is top-notch. We are usually served by Mary who is English speaking, patient and does a great job at explaining all details about the different dishes and wines in the menu. One of the finest restaurants in Santiago de Compostela The owner Miguel and Maria welcome you as family. The food is outstanding and the service Excellent Vincent, Mary, Lucia are exceptional. Primarily a seafood restaurant all their selections are over the top. Should you have dietary or portion restrictions they are there to accommodate, it has always been my primary go to restaurant since 2012 walking 8 Caminos and since moving to Santiago it has been my primary go to. They have really made me feel part of the family- Comida

A clean and vibrant space for the freshest seafood, an excellent wine list and great service. I enjoyed the scallops, shrimp and clams with a lovely bottle of Albariño. The weather didn’t allow me to sit outside but it’s a lovely open space plaza in front and looks like a great place to be outside on a sunny day.

I stopped in after completing the Camino Portuguese. The meal was outstanding. I cannot say enough praise about the food and the service, which was polite and attentive. I lingered over my meal and observed a few customers come in after the kitchen was closed for the afternoon. However, they were ordering only coffee or wine, no food, and they were obviously established local customers. I could see nothing wrong with that. Restaurants work differently here than they do in the US and some other parts of the world, that's just how it is.- Servicio

Great food especially their Mariscada (seafood) for 2. Excellent and courteous staff. Great service.
María was the nicest waiter and was lovely to our kids. Fresh ingredients and lovely cozy space.

Love this place! Went twice before we left town because so good. The owner is gracious with abundant hospitality. The food was fantastic. Fresh fish was a highlight. And loved the rice with stewed veal. A must visit in Santiago!

Although a bit expensive, the fish and seafood was incredibly fresh and the staff was super friendly.
Nice tapas included with our glass of Albariño! We didn’t have food but locals seem to be happy with this place :)
Incredible restaurant. We only came for a coffee and the waiter overwhelmed us with generosity. He gave us tortilla, crisps and Russian salad as pinchos. He honestly couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable. We will be coming back to sample the amazing range of seafood. Thank you for making our day

A really lovely meal with exceptionally friendly staff. I have visited Santiago a lot and I find a lot of restaurants serve good food, but with a grumpy attitude, as I can't speak fluent Spanish. However, the moment we arrived and I explained I did not speak much Spanish, they were so helpful and kind and checked on us to make sure we understood everything. Thank you!
